Clinical Care Center (CCC) will be the site for professional education in medicine, nursing and several allied health professions. Professional Education Component will work with health professional students who are on the front lines of service delivery to rural women. Students in Woman’s health elective rotation  will complete a research-focused clinical project.

Educating medical students, residents, fellows, and faculty about the most recent advances in women’s health provides the foundation for delivering exceptional clinical services to women of all ages and across diverse  populations.

To address the complex medical issues across a woman’s lifespan, with attention to physiologic, hormonal, and psychosocial factors, professional training programs will be created in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, and allied health.

Low literacy education materials on women’s health topics have been developed and will be disseminated through Women’s Resource Center.
