Women on Wellness (WOW) are inspiring and fun-filled, one day retreats that nourish the mind, body and soul.  The 2008 retreats will be located at the idyllic Heston Farm in Marion County and Camp Creek State Park in Mercer County. Women on Wellness enables you to take responsibility for your overall wellness and motivates you to action as you move towards a viable health maintenance plan for life… and a life maintenance plan for health!

Sponsored by West Virginia University’s Center of Excellence in Women’s Health, the WOW retreats introduce participants to a variety of resources and options that help to develop individual change plans that match participants preferences and needs.  Participants learn strategies for changing the unconstructive ways they feel and think about themselves and learn ways to identify thoughts and behaviors that keep their health and life potential locked away. At the end of the day participants have a personalized wellness program that they design to work for their needs. 

Cost for this year's retreats are $35 per location per person for West Virginia residents, and $100 per location per person for Non-West Virginia residents. All women are welcome and scholarships are available. Donations will be accepted.
