The day begins with registration and a light-fare breakfast. Dr. Julie Smith leads the starting “Center Yourself” session that helps participants understand the science behind the Women on Wellness program. Participants will not sit for long because the next session is designed to get everyone up and moving! With activities for every skill set, participants use this opportunity to learn more about activities to get them moving and staying healthy. Lunch is filled with nutritious food and important information regarding nutrition. Dr. Julie Smith will be back after lunch to continue to guide participants on their change journey in the Personal Roadmap session. Participants will return a “buffet” style selection educational opportunities from health screenings, heart health, women and stroke, perinatal wellness, HPV vaccine, breast health, understanding your medicines etc.. From Massage Therapy to Yoga sessions, there are activities for everyone to try out.
